1. Lemon

Lemon juice helps rejuvenate the skin by reducing age spots and other signs of aging. Vitamin C in the lemon is a powerful antioxidant that helps protect the skin from free radical damage. Moreover, bleaching properties help improve your overall skin tone.


  • Pour a few drops of honey to the juice of 1/2 lemon. Rub gently on your face. Let stand for 10 minutes and then rinse your face. Do it twice a week.
  • Alternatively, squeeze the juice of 1 orange juice and apply it on the skin. Let stand for about 15 minutes, then rinse with cold water. Use this medication once a day.
  • Another option is to mix 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and egg whites, along with ½ teaspoon of milk cream. Apply this paste on your face. Wait 15 minutes, then rinse with cold water. Repeat once or twice a week.


2. Cucumber

The high water content in cucumber is very nourishing and moisturizing for your skin. Substances in it soothes, especially for acne prone skin and sunburned skin and help rejuvenate your skin. In addition, the antioxidants in cucumber helps keep skin bright, radiant and younger looking.


  • Mix 2 teaspoons grated cucumber and ½ cup of yogurt to make a face mask. Apply this on the face and neck. After 20 minutes, rinse with warm water. Use it twice a week.
  • Or, mix equal amounts of finely grated cucumber and watermelon. Add a few drops of lemon juice, then apply on your face. Allow to dry, then wash off with warm water. Use several times a week.


3. Papaya

  • Mix 2 tablespoons of mashed ripe papaya, 1 tablespoon of honey and ½ teaspoon of fresh lemon juice. Apply this on your face. After 15 minutes, rinse with warm water. Use this face mask once a week.


4. Bananas
